Safe Water Bill for Maine

Being extremely concerned about not only the food bills recently passed by our federal government taking away our right to safe food, I’m also concerned about the safety of our water supply and the toxins our government puts in to it. So, I wrote the Safe Water Bill below. Think there might be 2 Maine State Reps brave enough to sponsor and co-sponsor it?

WHEREAS One of the greatest statements of human liberty ever written, the unanimous Declaration of Independence of the Thirteen united States of America, declares that, “All people are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, and among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”; and

WHEREAS All people equally possess these rights by nature and that government derives its just power from the consent of the governed thus making the purpose of government to aid in securing these fundamental rights; and

WHEREAS In this unanimous Declaration of Independence adopted by Congress on July 4, 1776, We the People announced to the world that we were to govern ourselves as free and independent states; and

WHEREAS That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their SAFETY and HAPPINESS; and

WHEREAS Water is human sustenance and is the fundamental prerequisite to life; and

WHEREAS The basis of human sustenance rests on the ability of all people to have safe water to drink, cook and bathe with; and

WHEREAS Many studies and much research have proven that fluoride is a poison and is unsuitable for human consumption; and

WHEREAS Our federal government has consistently ignored these studies and research and the many pleas of concern of scientists, doctors and “We the People” about the toxicity of fluoride; and

WHEREAS Our federal government, despite the undeniable proof of the harmful and sometimes deadly effect caused by fluoride in our drinking water supply, still requires that cities across this great nation put fluoride into their water supply; and

WHEREAS In doing so, shows the callous disregard for the safety of the American people that this government is dictated by constitutional decree to protect; and

WHEREAS We the People of Maine deem that this seriously and negatively affects our SAFETY and unalienable rights to life and happiness; and

WHEREAS We the People of Maine, have an obligation to protect these rights as is the Common and Natural Law; and recognize the necessity in sustaining a free and healthy Society;

THEREFORE, Be it resolved, that We The People, stand on our rights, given to us by Almighty God, and declared in the unanimous Declaration of Independence of the Thirteen united States of America and under the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution and reject such Federal decrees, statutes, regulations or corporate practices that threaten our basic human right to have safe drinking water and be without any additives of any kind with the exception of non harmful additives needed for purification within the State of Maine; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that We The People, shall resist any and all infringements upon these rights, from whatever sources that are contrary to the rights of the People of the State of Maine.

  1. The PPH reports “The acting commissioner of Maine’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention urged the state’s water districts Monday to immediately reduce the amount of fluoride in drinking water.”

      Yes they did. Wonder if they read this, eh? But still, it’s NOT ENOUGH! They should cut it out COMPLETELY! Hopefully, two of our legislators will be brave enough to submit this bill and do away with ALL additives except the non-harmful ones needed to purify it!
